Regional Sales Representative recruitment
Principal Responsibilities:
• Manage region with external partner to attain both revenue and profitability goals
• Conduct consultative, relationship-building sales calls via the telephone with financial advisors and other licensed professionals
• Develop and execute sales plan strategies with members of both external internal sales teams
• Articulate fund objectives, discuss financial markets (domestic and international) and portfolio strategies
• Identify sales opportunities and advisor needs, cross-sell ideas and introduce new concepts
• Develop asset allocation strategies based on client objectives and risk tolerances
• Analyze regional/product sales trends within participating broker/dealer firms and among individual financial advisors
• Work with various departments/individuals within the organization to provide ‘Best in Class’ service to our financial advisors
• Handle daily territory management tasks to ensure maximum business efficiency, i.e. update and maintain CRM, generate hypotheticals/proposals, etc
Competencies for Success/Requirements:
• Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in financial services industry
• Thorough understanding of the financial/capital markets; mutual funds, group and individual retirement plan products, separately managed accounts, hedge funds and other investment vehicles
• Ability to view business on a macro and micro level
• Motivated to achieve success

• Sound communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong sales skills; probing, listening and closing
• Exceptional verbal and writing skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Series 7 63 required
• College degree preferred
