Operating as one of the 14 business units at Vestas Wind Systems A/S, Vestas Offshore A/S focuses exclusively on selling, constructing and operating wind power plants at sea. With offices based in Denmark, the Netherlands, China, North America, Germany and the United Kingdom we are responsible for Vestas’ involvement of offshore wind power plants worldwide.

Vestas Offshore is synonymous with professionalism, overview and the capacity to take a holistic approach to projects from the initial idea to the completed wind farm, dealing with the unpredictability of Mother Nature and all the other special challenges that apply to offshore projects. Responsibilities and Tasks

The Vestas Offshore service department is an international, independent and experienced team with focus on safety, customer satisfaction, business and operational performance. We are looking for an inspiring manager to motivate and develop our Northern, UK regional sites to the next level, ensuring high quality whilst focusing on continuous improvement in all aspects of the offshore wind turbine service business.

 

Qualifications and Work Experience

Responsibilities as Regional Service Manager include:

·         Compliance with Vestas Health and Safety Management System

·         Financial performance of the region

·         Ensure high customer satisfaction

·         Develop and monitor the Regional Business Plan and associated Balanced Score Cards

·         Ensure that the Regional and Site Business Plan targets are met, following up on initiatives

·         Compiling and delivering board meeting requirements

·         Responsible for the regional activity plan and efficient utilisation of resources across sites in the region

·         insight in the different sites and their day to day operational duties

·         Support, coach and mentor existing Service Managers

·         Develop a high team spirit

 

Qualifications and work experience

The ideal candidate should have a successful track record and experience with working in an international environment with a customer service focus.

·         A relevant business, technical or master degree

·         Experience in a management position in an industrial or customer service business

·         Experience in managing and developing successful relations with customers

·         Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (English)

·         Strong Leadership skills

·         Ability to read, understand and apply financial key figures

·         Ability to lead and execute Health, Safety and Environmental management duties

·         Ability to ensure efficient execution of services including alignment and continuous improvements

·         Ability to implement business strategy into operational plans

·         Ability to motivate and act as coach for the employees
