Regional Solutions Sales Consultant

Position Description:

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc is currently seeking a Regional Solutions Consultant.

PURPOSE
The focus of this position is to provide sales assistance and guidance to Konica Minolta Sales Teams in the area’s of OPS, Third Party Solution products and Professional Services. Through the increased sales of OPS, Third Party Solution Products and Professional Services, KMBS will be positioned to increase margins and revenue. The RSC core responsibilities are focused on providing direction, training and consultative support to all Sales channels including: Direct Branches and Authorized Konica Minolta Dealers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, drive and manage Konica Minolta’s OPS, Solutions and Professional Services business
  • Work with each sales division management teams (Regional President, Market Vice President(s), Regional Vice President(s), Branch Managers) to achieve revenue targets for OPS, Solutions and Professional Services
  • Develop target revenue numbers with Branch and channel management
  • Coordinate and conduct OPS, Solutions and Professional Services educational seminars and training at the local level
  • Identify “Best Practices” within field sales and support groups and facilitate knowledge sharing and updated procedures
  • Provide high-level sales support focusing on Konica Minolta’s OPS, Third Party Solutions products and Professional Services for the Direct and Dealer Channel
  • Establish/engage appropriate resources for project execution and deployment
  • Manage third party vendor and KMBS internal support relationships during project deployment
  • Conduct periodic “Best Practice Meetings” that focus on sharing successful sales activities of sales personnel that result in meeting OPS, Third Party Solutions and Professional Services targets.
  • Conduct OPS, Third Party Solutions and Professional Services launches.

    Qualifications:

  • 5+ years technical Sales experience in related field (Solutions, Software, Document Management, Manage Print Services, Color/Monochrome MFP engines and Production Print) with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota.
  • Candidate must have 3-5+ years Managerial experience preferred with a proven track record of working in a regional position or similar while achieving budget.
  • 4-year college degree preferred. Related business and technology certification is a plus.
  • Proven sales and sales management history of meeting and exceeding budget.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task effectively.
  • PC/MAC literate.
  • Strong working knowledge of the following applications: Microsoft Office, Publisher, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Lotus Notes, and Internet Explorer.
  • Attend training classes to remain current with the most recent technology.
  • Pass certification tests to enhance career path.

    Strong working knowledge:

  • Print controllers and applications (Colorwise, Command Workstation, Calibration, Color Correction and drivers)
  • Variable data packages (Prism, PrintShop Mail, Planet Press)
  • Document manage/ scanning applications and workflows
  • Manage Print Services
  • Consultative Sales
