• Leading the development execution of the local sourcing strategies to deliver a competitive advantage to the business. This includes supplier selection, development, and supplier consolidation to ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance.
• Leading sourcing execution for all commodity spend, with full accountability for meeting deflation (savings), cash and preferred supplier targets.
• Partnering with key business stakeholders to ensure sourced goods and services meet the needs of the business.
• Support the business in their continuous improvement projects and leading cross functional initiatives (e.g. Bullet Trains) to deliver these.
• Key activities will included; detailed spend analysis of the business, market analysis and commodity strategy development for GEHC in the UK. Supplier selection through tender and eAuctions, and supplier development activities in support of consolidation, leverage and continuous improvement to ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance.
• Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance and developing improvement strategies to ensure business needs are met.
• Driving improvements in sourcing processes including escalations due to delivery/quality issues, buy to pay process, invoicing/payables issues, and database management.
• Driving business productivity metrics affected by indirect sourcing, ensuring accuracy, identifying new areas of opportunity to drive cost out, implement operating efficiency or improve productivity, including leading bullet trains within the PL.
• Affecting improvement in sourcing processes through digitization (dashboards, catalogues and punch-outs) and simplification including management / employee communication, policy recommendations or management dashboards for individual spend controls.

Role Summary/Purpose

The Regional Sourcing Leader is responsible for all GEHC spend in the UK for their commodities. As such they will drive significant cost, cash, compliance, quality and service benefits for the business in this commodity. This role would suit an individual wanting to prove their strategic sourcing skills in a diverse environment and get a cross commodity view of ITT. Marketing and TL.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business related subject, Engineering or technical discipline. 2. 3 years work experience with technical depth/knowledge in indirect sourcing, or 3 years of Supply Chain experience3. Willing to travel domestically and in some cases internationally up to 15% of time

1. Masters Degree2. Minimum of 5 years of commercial sourcing experience in all facets of the commodity including experience in the healthcare industry3. Excellent negotiations skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships4. Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization5. Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments6. Lean skills preferred
