Regional Tax Manager, APAC recruitment
Reporting to the Tax Director, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating business and tax issues within Asia Pacific and other International Regions. The incumbent will also be managing the U.S and local Tax compliance process, and overseeing a team of Tax Supervisors.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Providing practical tax advice on cross-border transactions, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, including indirect tax implications
- Managing transfer pricing strategy and work with Corporate on transfer pricing documentation
- Addressing tax issues pertaining to routine operations
- Working with external tax advisors to obtain appropriate advice on the tax implications of transactions, negotiating with local tax authorities and obtaining advance ruling where applicable
- Assisting in the coordination and oversight of tax compliance and tax accounting, ensuring the timely filing of complete tax returns of South Asia legal entities, and advising and managing positions taken in the tax returns, where applicable
- Managing the tax audit by local authorities in the region, including reviewing correspondences with tax offices
- Managing the SOX requirements and FIN 48 reporting
- Advising on the impact of new tax law changes on the Company’s operations
Requirements
You should possess:
- At least a Bachelor's Degree Accountancy or Law, with Specialization in Taxation or Chartered Accountant
- At least 6 years of experience in international corporate tax planning and compliance environment, with at least 4-5 years in a major public accounting or law firm
- Exposure to regional direct tax and indirect tax issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
