Registered Mental Health Nurse Band 6

A Locum Registered Mental Health Nurse at Band 6 needed to work with the Royal Air Force in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.

Duties
You will provide psychotherapeutic interventions in support of Registered Nurse (Mental Health) teams, under supervision, managing the whole care programme, taking an occupational approach to care planning.
Initial assessment of the mental health needs of referred clients.
Continued responsibility for an identified case load by reviewing case needs and development, evaluation of programmes of care.
Maintaining accurate records and clinical notes of all client contact.
Providing reports to and maintaining liaison with Medical Officers (MOs), General Practitioners and other relevant professional agencies after initial assessment, on discharge or whenever appropriate.
Participation in clinical supervision.
Accountability for standards of nursing care to the client, referring Medical Officer and the NMC code of professional conduct.
Recognising limits of competence and seeking clinical supervision and/or advice as appropriate.
You will be required to use CBT principles such as agenda setting, session structure and review of progress and implementation of care plan.

You must:
Have a strong community experience as autonomous practitioner and be level 3 EMDR trained.
Hold full NMC registration and be eligible to work in the UK.
Have evidence of full immunity history - TB, Hep B, Rubella, Measles
