Seeking a Registered Nurse to provide services to consumers with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities. Primary responsibility are providing health care services to individuals serviced through the outpatient services unit working closely with the agency psychiatrist, providing health assessments, and follow-ups as assigned. Other duties include medication administration, staff education and consultation, routine consumer health monitoring, maintaining and protecting sample medications, and assisting consumers with applications for drug assistance programs. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to work as a team member, be person centered in their approach to providing consumer services, and have an understanding of mental illness/developmental disabilities. Possession of a Bachelors Degree in Nursing is preferred. A minimum of two years of experience working with persons who have mental illnesses and/or developmental disabilities is preferred.
