Staff RN Responsibilities:
- Responsible to the Director or designate
- Accepts responsibility for role as Registered Nurse within the organization
- Performs with acceptable standard of skill and sense of responsibility
- Plans, carries out and evaluates nursing care and co-operates in the administration of preventative, diagnostic and therapeutic care, exercising judgment in meeting the patients’ needs
- Assists in the teaching and sharing of knowledge with the staff under the direction of the Director or designate
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Applicants without Added Nursing Skills will be expected to complete the required courses of study within six months of initial date of hire
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Further and related education
- A wide range of clinical experience
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of Cree an asset
