Responsibilities/Duties:

If you are interested in playing a key role in linking the needs of pediatric Home Care clients and service delivery, this position will interest you. Using your strong assessment and organizational skills, you will identify the needs of the client and determine the appropriate internal and external resources. Through the development of the care plan, in collaboration with the client and/or the client's family, you will ensure services are provided and modified on an ongoing basis, based on the client's response to the intervention.

 

Qualifications:

A Baccalaureate degree in nursing is required. Two years current nursing practice with one year in a community based setting preferred. Assets include: at least two years recent experience in the care of pediatric clients, computer knowledge / skills and strong interpersonal skills. You must have current registration with CARNA, BCLS certification, a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
Responsible to provide proof of active registration with the College Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) and to maintain registration throughout the duration of employment.
