Chestnut Health Systems is a leading provider of behavioral health care services. Over the course of 35 years, Chestnut has grown to over 700 committed, compassionate employees providing care at multiple substance abuse and mental health treatment centers in Central and Southern Illinois. Chestnut also conducts research and training throughout the U.S., as well as provides employee assistance programs internationally.
Chestnut Health Systems is seeking full-time, Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11:30pm, Registered Nurse for our Granite City, IL location, servicing the Metro East and St. Louis, MO areas.
Qualifications:
· Must be licensed in Illinois and possess a valid driver’s license.
· Must possess clinical and case management skills and be able to work from a multidisciplinary team approach in a recovery oriented environment.
· Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally and exercise judgment and discretion.
Job Duties:
· Completion of required paperwork in a timely manner.
· Medication administration, monitoring and training.
· Assess consumers for acute physical issues.
· Administer, evaluate and document TB skin tests appropriately.
