The Oconee County Health Department is seeking a Registered Nurse. Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols. Provides services in all programs, such as Women's Health, Adult Health, STD, etc. to the general public; Assesses the client's condition, develops plan of care, provides treatments, educates clients, and makes referrals as appropriate. Participates in Public Health Emergency Preparedness; Provides outreach services in programs such as Children 1st. Some home visiting may be required.
Registered to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Georgia. Excellent verbal and writing skills required; must be computer literate. BSN preferred. Bilingual in Spanish desired. Experience as a professional nurse preferred.
