Registered Nurse Maternity Schedule : Full-time Shift : Night Hourly Rate : $29.11 + Depending on Experience Job Category : Labor Delivery/Obstetric Nursing Location : California-Mission Hills Providence is calling a Maternity Nurse to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. We are seeking a Registered Nurse that is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality of care in the Marternity Unit In this position you will: Implement and maintain established department, unit, administrative, and clinical policies/procedures for patient care, safety, and infection control. Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment with attention to each patient's physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual needs. Collaborate and communicate with other personnel to maintain good employee relations, meet interdepartmental objectives, and optimize patient care. Provide direction to team members to coordinate care of assigned patients and problem-solve patient care issues during the shift. Required qualifications for this position include: Current California RN License Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification 1 year of experience working in Maternity Preferred qualifications for this position include: BSN About the hospital you will serve.
