Registered Nurse (RN)

- Full Time - 8 Hour Shifts
About the Job:
- Concurrent Review
- Utilization Review
- Discharge Planning
- Authorizations (TARS)
Knowledge of:
- Reimbursement related to Medicare, Medi-Cal Managed Care.
- Utilization review and/or discharge planning services
- Available community resources.
- Effective charting practices and guidelines.
Ability to:
- Manage cases smoothly and increase patient/physician satisfaction.
- Track outcomes and report findings.
- Resolve patient needs such as discharge planning, Home Health, DME and SNF’s.
- Identify potential quality issues, delays in service, post-acute care needs.
- Negotiate orders with the physicians in order to assign alternate levels of care.
Requirements
- RN License (CA)
- At least 3+ years Case Management / UR / UM Experience
