Assistant Director of Nursing ADON
We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse that will assist the Director of Nursing Services to ensure that our high standards of patient care are met at all times. You will assist in planning, organizing and directing the day-to-day nursing department.
* Assists in developing a cohesive nursing team by leading, motivating and support staff.
* Supports a positive work environment
* Assists in recruitment and selection of Nursing Services personnel.
* Ensures that quality patient care is provided by properly scheduling Nursing Services Staff.
* Assists in implementing, coordinating and supervising compliance with Resident Care Management Systems.
* Licensure as a Registered Nurse, RN, in state of employment.
* Previous experience in a skilled nursing center or long-term care setting required
* Excellent clinical and mentoring skills
* Experience in quality assurance and advanced training in infection control procedures
* Previous supervisory experience preferred.
* Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing procedures, laws and regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
