Registered Nurse (RN)
Full-time/Non-exempt - Part-time/Float pool - Responsible for the overall supervision of the patient care unit and for the management of the therapeutic milieu; assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of patient care appropriate to the ages and populations served, specifically children and adolescents; maintains operational aspects of the patient care unit and works collaboratively with the other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
Educational Requirements: Must be licensed in the State of Texas. A Psychiatric Nursing Internship Program is available for newly licensed RN's and experienced nurses wanting a new direction in their career. Must have a valid TXDL.
Previous Experience Required: One (1) year previous experience in a Psychiatric facility preferred. In lieu of this experience, the facility will consider experience in related fields and/or education acquired in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Sociology, or related fields.
