The American International School of Rotterdam wishes to appoint a full-time

Registrar – Transportation Coordinator

Responsibilities:

-       Maintenance of all student records and documents using PowerSchool database software (e.g. transcripts, report cards, class lists, master schedules, attendance reporting, progress reports).

-       Establish routes and generate daily bus schedules.

-       Contact person for external transportation company.

-       Backup support for front office (answering telephone calls, greeting students, parents, visitors and assisting faculty as needed).

-       Assist Director and Principal(s) for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.

-       Liaison between school and the US Government.

-       First-Aid backup support for the school nurse on an as needed basis.

 

Requirements:

-       Excellent communication skills and fluent in English, verbally and in writing.

-       Strong interpersonal skills and must exercise intercultural sensitivity.

-       Minimum 5 years experience in an international environment, preferably as an expat.

-       Established professional network with US expatriates.

-       Ability to set priorities, execute strong planning skills and must be able to multi-task.

-       Good knowledge of and experience with ICT systems (e.g. PowerSchool, Micorsoft ACCESS), and must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products.

-       Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.
