Registrations Associate Job in Chelmsford, Southern UK
My client one of the UK’s leading independent fund markets currently have a fixed term contract for 12 Months for a Registration Associate based in Chelmsford. The Registrations team is responsible for delivery of timely, high quality and regulatory compliant registrations activities for Retail Operations. This includes changes to the client and agent register, settlement and satisfying Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements for customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform core day to day tasks including register updates, AML verification and settlement processes.
- Process and quality check work types this will include dealing with Gone away’s, changes of address, deceased and legal documentation and stock transfers. May also include AML verification and settlement processing. Also account and client mergers.
- Liaise with advisers to obtain required information
- Ensure procedures are followed, including internal and external compliance regulations
- Support the learning of newer staff members by openly sharing knowledge
- Assist other areas of Retail Operations as required
Skills and Experience required:
· Sound knowledge of Financial Services (MUST HAVE INVESTMENT EXPOSURE)
· Sound knowledge of FAST/AWD or equivalent automated workflow
· Understanding of key registrations functions (MUST HAVE PROCESSING EXPERIENCE)
· Exposure to settlement processes
· Ability to learn quickly
· Knowledge of register activities
· Trust and legal documentation framework knowledge
· Advanced AML understanding
· Attention to detail
· Business acumen to understand impact of work to other areas
· Use of automated workflow
