Regulatory Accountant
My client within the financial services industry currently have a requirement for a big 4 accountant who is keen to move out of practice into the financial services industry. This is an assistant management level role
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop understanding of production of the regulatory returns for the bank
- responsibility for the monitoring and preparation of statutory central bank returns- including capital returns, prudential returns and Stat central bank returns
- Monitor and forecast of capital adequacy
- ensure new regulatory requirements are met
- review and assess internal operational process and make sure recommendations and improvements are made.
- Prepare and agree annual work plans with members of the team
- promote staff rotation
- Management of dat to day work of the team
REQUIREMENTS
- Newly qualified accountant from BIG 4, or BIG 4 trained accountant with some post qualified experience and you will have dealt with a portfolio of financial services clients
- strong regulatory knowledge and experience
