Overview:

This role is to provide accurate risk and regulatory reports as well as related insightful analysis and challenge to the businesses. It will provide accurate risk and regulatory reports as well as related insightful analysis and challenge to the business. As the centre of competence for credit risk and regulatory processes, the functions core tasks include:

• Preparation and distribution of internal and external actual risk reporting and analytics.

• Calculation, analysis and interpretation of the Banks regulatory exposures.

• Providing regulatory advisory services to other functions in Group Finance, Risk Management, and Business Lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing ad-hoc advisory services to the business

• Review, understand and interpret new regulations and incoming rules or changes to existing regulations and how they will apply to corporations.

• Provide guidance on regulations pertaining to Group-level regulatory reporting to other Finance functions to improve the quality of reporting.

• Monitor and assess changes in the Group’s regulatory reporting requirements and communicate them to Finance functions, senior management and businesses with a focus on securitisation business.

• Regularly engage with other Finance Functions, Group Legal, and the Business Lines.

• Training of relevant parties in regarding new regulations.

• Ensure appropriate changes are made subsequent to understanding the impact of regulatory changes on BU.

• Regularly engage with other Finance Functions, Group Legal, and the Business Lines.

Candidate Requirements:

• Work experience in a similar role within an investment bank, central bank, consultancy or law firm.

• Solid knowledge of international regulatory requirements and in depth understanding of the proposed revision of the international regulatory framework (e.g. Basel III, CRD 3, CRD 4).

• Solid knowledge of structured finance products.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• The ability to learn quickly and to work independently in a fast paced environment.

• Degree educated, ideally in business administration, finance, economics, or a qualified lawyer.

• An excellent communicator at all levels both verbally and written based on experience.

• Able to interpret, communicate and solve complex regulatory issues in a timely manner.
