Regulatory Affairs Associate
Our client, a Global Financial Institution is looking for Regulatory Affairs Associate to provide guidance and advice on all aspects of regulation across their businesses globally. The individual would help to develop and maintain regulatory standards to enhance and protect the reputation of the firm.
Duties include:
- Support compliance departments regarding upstream regulatory risk.
- Ensure that the group compliance maintains full oversight of all international regulatory developments affecting the firm.
- Develop an appropriate policy and framework to manage the key regulatory changes, including extra territorial changes.
- Report on new international regulatory risks.
- Monitor regulatory compliance risk change and ensure the appropriate actions are taken to address its potential impacts for the business.
- Monitor the progress of regulatory projects and resolve issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate performance status for senior stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of legal and regulatory changes and any operational risk issues occurring within the business.
- Maintain and update relevant policies, procedures, systems and controls in relation to identifying, impact assessing, reporting on and responding to relevant international regulatory developments.
The preferred candidate will ideally have financial services background and be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of current and upcoming regulations. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact at all levels of business effectively.
