Regulatory Analyst recruitment

Summary: Primary responsibilities include working on regulatory initiatives (e.g., Dodd-Frank implementation, etc.), providing Compliance/regulatory advice to front office and middle office, implementing new rules and regulations, drafting effective policies and procedures, and training.

Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include:

· Monitoring and analyzing banking and securities regulatory developments affecting BNP Paribas' business in the U.S., including regulations stemming from Dodd-Frank

· Supporting the development of proposed and final rulemakings

· Assessing impact of regulatory developments on BNP Paribas' business lines, functions, and the Firm's Compliance Program

· Developing and executing implementation plans, communication strategies, and training and outreach programs

· Drafting new or amending existing Compliance policies and/or procedures to accommodate changes in U.S. laws, rules, and regulations

Skills

Skill Sets: Strong knowledge of securities laws and regulations. Candidate must have excellent communication skills including the ability to write and speak articulately and concisely.

Education: BA or BS a must with preference to business or finance majors. (JD or MBA preferred)

Experience: 5 to 10 years investment banking experience with a broker-dealer and/or related legal or regulatory experience.
