Regulatory and Legal Advisor
We are currently recruiting a Regulatory/Legal Adviser for our client, a highly prestigious Investment Management firm with an excellent reputation in the market. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with the ability to analyse and proactively identify regulatory changes that will affect the business over the coming year (and pay specific regard to AML). This role will suit someone with either prior experience of regulatory reporting, looking for a larger role, or someone with strong analytical skills who would enjoy the intellectual challenge. You will lead a small team of regulatory analysts and reporters responsible for the accurate and timely return of regulatory filling.
As well as ensuring the business meets its legal and regulatory requirements you will be responsible for:
*Supporting a team of analyst responsible for co-coordinating and completing regulatory
reporting tasks
*Identifying and analysing new relevant legislation and proposing and implementing solutions
*Assisting with AML obligations
* Maintaining and developing department policies procedures, systems and reporting
Required experience:
*Previous experience of regulatory reporting in financial services, (industry or private practice)
*Day to day management and development of a team
*Strong numerical and analytical skills and very high levels of accuracy/attention to detail.
*Good communication and negotiation skills.
*The ability to work to tight deadlines with a positive approach is essential
