Role Purpose
This role is required to assist the Group in the management of key activities associated with the review and submission of regulatory reporting returns to respective financial regulators in the Republic of Ireland and United Kingdom. In addition, the role will play a key part in the analysis and implementation of new legislative requirements and the provision of regulatory advisory services to the Group.
Major Activities and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the review and challenge of regulatory returns (for example COREP and FINREP reporting, arrears and impairments returns) and ensuring all returns are submitted on time and in line with regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for the delivery of actions arising from queries raised by respective Group Regulators, in particular the review challenge of information prepared by regulatory reporting stakeholders.
- Responsible for identification and implementation of new regulatory requirements impacting on existing processes and assisting in the introduction of appropriate controls and procedures to reflect same in existing processes.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key regulatory reporting stakeholders across the group.
- Participation in monthly regulatory reporting cycles and escalation of matters impacting on timely delivery of regulatory returns
- Provide regulatory advisory services across the group.
- Liaison with Group Regulators.
- Other ad hoc duties consistent with the role.
Skills and Experience Required
- Significant experience in regulatory reporting for Financial Services
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA qualified) with at least 3 years post qualification experience.
- Demonstrable expertise in regulatory concepts and issues in a credit institution
- Excellent communication skills – Ability to articulate complex rules to non-expert stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
- Excellent analytical skills – Ability to correctly interpret underlying information and assess impact on regulatory returns.
- Risk Management – Ability to devise and maintain a strong culture of review and challenge in respect of delivery of regulatory reporting returns.

Fitness and Probity
This is a Regulated Role, and will be subject to enhanced vetting procedures. There will be an ongoing requirement for the role holder to maintain fit, proper and sound standing to perform in the post.
This role is based in Dublin and will be an 18 month contract.
