Regulatory Business Analyst AD recruitment
The Regulatory Change Analyst is part of UK Regional Control and Accounting (RCA) Change the Bank (CTB) team within Group Finance. The Finance CTB organisation exists to enable the transformation of Finance in response to the needs of our stakeholders. We are organised into business aligned teams supporting the Run the bank (RTB) functions, in this case UK RCA.
The UK RCA CTB team ensures continued financial and regulatory reporting compliance in relation to the increasing number of regulatory changes and accounting policy changes, as well as internally driven changes such as new business, products, systems updates, and remediation of any broken processes.
Your Role
One significant area of responsibility of our clients, UK RCA, is external regulatory reporting, including capital adequacy and liquidity of UBS’ UK entities.
As the regulatory environment continues to materially evolve, UBS has a number of significant projects underway to evaluate and implement the changes required. Additionally we are reviewing our business and operating model which is likely to have significant impact on what we need to do to comply with existing and emerging regulatory requirements.
The Regulatory Change Analyst will, using their FSA regulatory reporting knowledge, engage in the projects underway and ensure compliance with the rules and regulations we are subject to in the UK, in particular from a market, credit and concentration risk perspective.
You will have good knowledge of these areas, gained from working in a reporting or policy role at an investment bank or similar financial institution and be familiar with the rules in relation to capital adequacy and RWA calculations.
Applying this knowledge to our business and specific changes we review will allow us to react and build appropriate systems to continue our robust compliance and also our value adding activities to the business we support.
You will work as part of the CTB team covering the UK RCA and also as part of the wider Finance CTB and RTB teams and have interaction and exposure to a variety of levels including senior management in UK Finance and the business.
