Regulatory Change/ Basel

Main Function
 Working in the Asia Financial Control Projects Team to support Global Regulatory Reporting projects for Asia Pacific Financial Control with current and future Change initiatives.
Current Initiatives are focused heavily on Basel 3 and Common Reporting, ensuring the firm complies with global regulatory directives.

Main Duties
To identify, plan and drive change across Asia

Responsibilities:

1. Manage execution of workstreams/ projects across all aspects of the lifecycle:

Produce and monitor progress against detailed project plans
Working with IT / Users to identify solutions
Implementation tasks including UAT and ensuring transition to BAU is successful and sustainable
Project status reporting to stakeholders
Develop various project deliverables, includiing initiation, requirements, testing and business process documentation.

2. Identify and manage process efficiencies across Asia Pac

3. Review and document existing processes and develop target operating models encompassing preparation of all associated business requirements/specifications in order to achieve such a model.

Person Requirements
Experience required:

3 - 5 years experience in banking or finance, preferably in regulatory or statutory reporting  with knowledge in the Basel III space
Project and change management
Process re-engineering and implementing tactical and strategic solutions

Skills and knowledge:

Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter, team player.
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicator.
Desire to provide top quality service to internal clients.
Willingness and ability to take ownership of issues and manage through to a successful resolution.
Strong Excel skills.
