Regulatory Change Manager
Our client, a Global Financial Institution is looking for a Regulatory Change Manager to provide guidance and advice on the implementation of new regulations from the UK, EU and US across their global markets business. The individual would help to develop and maintain regulatory standards to enhance and protect the reputation of the firm.
Duties include:
- Provide guidance and advice to the front office and senior management regarding upstream regulatory risk
- Responsible for ensuring the effective and timely implementation of new regulatory requirements across the global markets business.
- Responsible for the delivery of high profile regulatory projects in terms of planning and adherence to internal and external standards.
- Monitor the progress of regulatory projects and resolve issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate project status for senior stakeholders.
- Obtain, analyse and develop comprehensive assessment solutions to meet key stakeholders reporting requirements.
- Support the on-going change or remediation work and provide guidance on how best to achieve specific objectives.
- Work closely with auditors, monitoring and business risk teams to ensure the effective implementation of projects.
- Responsible for compliance related projects, as well as track those managed outside compliance function.
The preferred candidate will ideally have a markets investment banking background and be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of UK, EU and US regulations. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact at all levels of business effectively.
