Regulatory Implementation Business Analyst recruitment
Key responsibilities:
- Key conduit between the IT teams globally and different regions
- Maintaining good working relationships with the key business representatives identified for each function, business location
- Running the fortnightly Change Request meetings with all business areas / regions
- Performing initial root cause business analysis on change requests raised, driving prioritization
- Assisting business representatives in the complete change process from issue identification through to deployment of fix / enhancement – incl. writing business requirements, test approach documents, reviewing functional specs, management of UAT testing phase, management of timelines etc.
- Attending the weekly meetings, reviewing business service requests and incidents
- Managing metrics production on Service Requests, Incidents and Change Requests
- Working closely with IT to proactively identify solutions to issues, and where necessary, creation of procedures to minimize ongoing change effort.
- Working alongside CTB project deliveries, to ensure a smooth transition into the BAU support model after project go-lives.
- Management of timelines / resource capacity – escalating issues when necessary
- Providing quarterly updates to senior management
Candidate requirements:
- University degree / post graduate or professional qualifications
- Used to working to tight deadlines and flagging potential problems at an early stage
- Skilled at problem solving and solution generation
- Strong team player with the ability to take ownership and deliver independently.
- Motivated self starter with ability to succeed with minimal supervision.
- Excellent knowledge of multiple project management methodologies, project lifecycle knowledge and ability to demonstrate practical usage
- Knowledge of business analysis techniques
- Knowledge of the theoretical front-to-back architecture of an investment bank
- Knowledge of sub-ledgers and how they operate
- Extensive experience in project planning, tracking and progress reporting
- Strong analytical skills - Ability to assimilate information quickly and gain consensus from multiple stakeholders where required.
- Experience of driving change forward and liaising / communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Proven track record in delivering complex solutions on time, budget and within agreed quality levels
- Sustained exposure to liaising internally with IT teams and business users in the context of programme deliverables
- Attention to accuracy, detail, presentation and timeliness of delivery
- Leadership and influencing skills
- Strong presentation and documentation skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
