Regulatory Lead – IMM/CRD4 recruitment

My Client, a leading investment bank in the City of London, is looking for a regulatory professional to join its Risk Regulatory Implementation (RRI) team as a lead manager.

The RRI team is responsible for:
*Assessing the downstream impact of upcoming regulatory developments on the bank and ensuring appropriate governance and oversight is in place for any required changes
*Managing and working with the relevant the banks functions to drive to resolution all outstanding regulatory issues that relate to Risk
*Acting as a key liaison with regulators for Risk
*Providing a single point of contact for all regulatory implementation matters within Risk
*Ensuring the bank is compliant with existing regulations relating to its Risk waivers, with a focus on the IMM waiver and CRDIV
*Liaison with Group Risk on regulatory related matters that impact the bank
*Representing Risk on cross-functional programmes related to regulatory change or ongoing regulatory issues
*Managing and planning the delivery of RRI-owned regulatory waiver applications, with a focus on new credit models.
*An experienced Director-level person is sought to lead and manage the self-certification of CRD4 elements and IMM waiver extensions. The role is vital to ensure that the bank is compliant with IMM /CRD4 regulations and meets FSA requirements on its waiver.

Scope of Role:
*Chairing working groups/meeting as necessary to ensure stakeholders are engaged and committed to deliverables (e.g. RRI's 'Regulatory Compliance' workstream)
*Status reporting to Head of RRI Team
*Creation of project plans
*Proactively participate in overall programme governance, highlighting key issues and risks and escalating where appropriate
*Act as the point person for Risk in the co-ordination effort for IMM / CRD4 waiver submissions
*Ensure relevant documentation is up to date
