Regulatory Manager

We are currently looking for a Regulatory Manager to join our Financial Crime team which entails providing technical compliance advice on regulatory issues and industry changes. This would be a key role in applying your financial crime knowledge experience to help clients to comply with regulatory requirements with regards to anti-money laundering and sanctions.

This excellent opportunity would expand your compliance and regulatory knowledge within a diverse role. The role would not only require you to carry out tasks to client specification, but would also help establish strong internal and client relationships. You'll help to create a positive learning culture and will coach junior team members.

Your responsibilities as a Regulatory Manager will include:

- Responsibility for engagement planning, management and leading teams in financial crime engagements

- Supporting bids and proposals for new client opportunities and grow existing valued relationships

- Working effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support and updating senior members on progress

- Mentoring staff and conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff.

Qualifications/skills you'll need as a Regulatory Manager:

- Knowledge of the UK and European financial crime regulatory environment (knowledge of the global environment an advantage)

- Financial Crime/AML and/or sanctions work experience/professional qualification preferred

- Consulting experience preferred

- Technical knowledge of financial products or regulated activities (e.g. complaint handling)

- Strong academic background, ideally to a degree level or equivalent

- Focus on one or more of the following areas: Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, Investment Management and General Insurance

- Leadership, project management and teamwork skills for delivery of financial crime engagements

- Strong stakeholder management skills

- Enthusiasm to be involved in marketing activity and developing the Financial Crime team.
