Regulatory Manager recruitment
You will play a pivotal role within their London finance division, where responsibilities will revolve around ensuring research and advise on new regulatory developments is undertaken and promoted throughout the business.
Key accountabilities will include:
• Critically evaluate new development projects/business and participate in ad hoc projects and reporting from a financial regulatory perspective.
• Research and advise on new accounting developments or technical questions on behalf of the Finance Strategy team.
• Assist the Head of Accounting to implement a strong controls infrastructure and attestation process within the Accounting team.
• Critical review and approval of FSA regulatory returns for the regulated entities, ensuring trading is within their financial and regulatory constraints.
• Act as key liaison for Compliance for financial and client money reporting matters.
• Lead capital (ICAAP) and liquidity modelling and reporting, ensuring the entities continue to trade within their financial and regulatory constraints and that the models reflect the risks inherent in those businesses.
• Ensure technical compliance with CF10a reporting and monitoring requirements.
• Assist the Head of Accounting Reporting to manage external and internal audit and other reviews.
Key technical skills, experience and essential qualifications:
• Self motivated and a team player, who is able to successfully resolve the conflicting priorities of project and routine tasks.
• Strong compliance credentials in asset management or banking.
• Financial reporting qualification and strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to work under pressure and with good attention to detail.
• Personable, able to communicate and influence at all levels within the firm.
