Regulatory Operations Programme Manager

Our client, a leading Investment Bank, currently seeks a Regulatory Operations Programme Manager, to be based in London within their Transaction Reporting programme.

The Programme Manager will be responsible for:
-Managing two main programmes of work within the Transaction Reporting programme
-Managing project deliveries across the Business and BO/FO IT
-Monitoring, tracking and reporting progress to all stakeholders
-Ensuring project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies are identified and successfully managed
-Ensuring effective communication within the project team and to external stakeholders
-Ensuring that projects are brought to a controlled close
-Ensuring project benefits are fully realised
-Directly managing and supporting the project leads.           

As such, the successful Programme Manager will have the following skills and experience:
-A proven and successful track record of working on or directly with IB Operations to deliver change
-The ability to use and adopt project management methodology in a fast moving environment
-PMP / PRINCE2® or similar project management qualifications would be preferable
-Possess excellent communication and organisational skills including the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders across the business and multiple IT departments and the ability to manage and coordinate concurrent projects at different stages of the project life cycle
-Experience with directly managing a medium sized teams within a banking environment
-An understanding of the UK regulatory landscape would be highly desired.
