Position Description:
The Firm's Central Policy Office centralizes and rationalizes the process, updating, and structure for Firmwide policies. The Central Policy Office works with all Business Units to ensure that Firmwide policies contain minimum content requirements to ensure that policy may be consistently implemented, and manages the Firm's PolicyPortal, a repository for Firmwide, divisional, and regional policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include the following:
• Managing the Firmwide Policy Approval Schedule, owned jointly with the Firm's Legal Department
• Assisting policy owners with the drafting, updating, and approval process of Firmwide, divisional, and regional policies
• Liaises with divisional and regional policy and procedure owners to get more policies and procedures written in the Firmwide policy format
• Ensuring that Firmwide policies meet minimum content requirements, allowing for consistent policy implementation
• Prepares meeting materials and presentations
• Fields inquiries and provides editorial guidance and support to policy and procedure authors
Skills Required:
• 2-5 years work experience
• Extremely strong presentation skills; fluency in Microsoft Office is a must
• Keen attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with all level of the organization
• Professional writing experience and editorial background preferred
• Knowledge of financial regulatory environment a plus
