The successful candidate will be a strong team player with the ability to effectively communicate and influence effectively at all levels and across a wide range of jurisdictions. Strong academics will be complemented by superior analytical and report writing skills, together with intellectual curiosity and a tenacious, detail-orientated approach.

Key purpose of the role will be to contribute to the development of policy pertaining to the Transparency Directive. This will include analysing complex documentation, undertaking verbal and written presentations to senior management, and acting as subject matter expert with regard to regulatory issues. Superior communication and influencing skills are essential as a crucial part of the role will be to negotiate policy issues with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Applications are invited from high calibre, polished individuals with a legal, economics, or markets background and pro-active, enthusiastic approach. Previous exposure to the UK Primary Markets and/or the Disclosure and Transparency Regime is essential, together with the ability to work in both a BAU and project –driven environment. Knowledge of wider EU regulation and cost benefit analysis will be a significant advantage.
