Regulatory Project Coordinator recruitment
Position on the Regulatory Filings team of the Financial Reporting group of Operations Administration - U.S. Fund Accounting of investment advisor with $3 trillion assets under management. As an experienced professional, this position will support a complex and fast-paced mutual fund business in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Responsibilities for over 300 open-end and closed-end mutual funds with approximately $400 billion of net assets include:
• Perform administrative process for SEC filings, comprised of Form N-1A registration statements, N-CSR wrappers and other regulatory filings, which includes:
- Obtain PM Compensation and Assets Under Management for incorporation into documents;
- Review various financial information from fund administrator, Operations Administration and Performance for inclusion in document;
- Distribute document drafts to outside and in-house legal counsel for updates to disclosures;
- Manage comment process for regulatory filings working group comprised of fund administrator, Operations Administration, Performance, Independent Accountants, in-house and outside counsel;
- Proofread updated drafts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of changes;
- Perform quality control review prior to filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission to ensure documents meet internal style guides and are consistent for all funds;
• Interaction with multiple internal and external service providers including outside and in-house legal counsel, financial printers, fund administrators, regulatory administrators, independent accountants, Performance and Operations Administration;
Qualifications:
• Experience in regulatory administration preferred;
• Knowledge in Content Management a plus;
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to work in a team oriented environment;
• Knowledge of SEC rules and regulations preferred;
• Excellent communication and writing skills to enable clear articulation of regulatory matters and issues to senior management;
• Proficient in Excel and Word;
• A college degree is required.
