Regulatory Reporting Officer- Apprentice recruitment

This resource will be integrated in the regulatory reporting team ( 6 people) which manages in 2012 :

the production of :
- 550 FCP regulatory reports (an annual report and a half-yearly report for each of the 275 FCP)
- 52 SICAV regulatory reports (an annual report and a half-yearly report for each of the 2 6 SICAV)
- FCPE annual reports
and coordinate the production of :
- 300 prospectus – part B (fees) (275 FCP + 25 SICAV)
- Basel 1 and Basel 2 reporting for 21 portfolios each month (since October, 2008)

1. Reporting to the head of Fund and Regulatory Reporting, your main responsibilities will be to contribute to:

To establish production planning
To monitor the respect of deadlines
To write and to send information request for production
To monitor information delivery and to make the appropriate follow-up
To check information (data coherence, grammatical mistakes…)
To produce annual and semi-annual FCP reports (automatic process)
To produce SICAV annual reports (semi-automatic process, automation in progress)
To produce SICAV semi-annual reports (automatic process)
To produce FCPE annual reports (automatic process since dec. 2008)
To check and control produced reports
To send for validation (internal and external validators)
To study correction requests : implementation or negotiation with validators
To produce and diffuse final reports
Follow-up of the legal life of portfolios for integration into reports

2. What sort of profile are we looking for?

Education qualifications : Business School, University Economics or Legal studies
Technical skills : control Microsoft Office software (Access control would be appreciated)
Key competencies and skills which are desirable :
Accounting, Financial, economical and legal knowledge. To be aware of portfolio regulation would be appreciate.
Editorial skills
Relational skills : to know how to acquire data within deadlines, to know how to explain and justify critical and imperative requests
Pugnacious and rigorous
Control of English language
