Regulatory Reporting recruitment
Description:
A reputable international investment bank seeks a qualified accountant with strong knowledge of regulatory reporting. Due to increasing MAS and Basel requirements, this is a growing area with excellent career prospects.
Role:
-Prepare daily business line regulatory capital report for the Merchant Bank based on Basel I framework to local/regional Management;
-Prepare daily reports monitoring MAS requirements to local Management;
-Perform month-end close, raise journals and investigate accounting breaks;
-Prepare monthly / quarterly / annual regulatory reporting including regulatory capital to MAS
-Prepare quarterly / annual statistical returns to Singapore Department of Statistics
-Perform analysis / simulation on the various reports prepared;
-Participate in any project or ad-hoc request in Financial Control Division;
Requirements:
-Strong academic background with a bachelor's degree in accounting / finance. Qualified accountant (Singapore CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualifications) is a plus;
-Strong knowledge of Basel II
-Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
