Regulatory Reporting Specialist
Your responsibilities will therefore include, but are not limited to:
· Measure, report and help manage the firm’s Eligible Capital and Risk Weighted Assets (RWA)
· The role offers an opportunity to be involved in international processes working with individuals located globally and both internal (for example Treasury, Legal Entity Controllers, Tax), as well as the opportunity to grow in a small team with responsibility for a dedicated area
· We expect you to help ensuring a complete, timely and accurate Basel II compliance reporting covering both Pillar 1, Pillar 2 and Pillar 3 – the reports are provided externally to the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), the Swiss National Bank (SNB) and to senior management and other business support areas
· Your responsibilities include the preparation of the monthly and quarterly internal external regulatory reports in the dedicated area and the preparation of commentaries to senior management and other business support areas
· The role also involves the maintenance and further development of the reporting processes and infrastructure in collaboration with IT to ensure that the data collection is efficiently structured and adequately controlled
· Additionally there is the opportunity to participate in various project work outside of the normal reporting duties
Our ideal candidate must have the following background and abilities:
· 3 to 5 years experience in a Controlling / Accounting position, preferably in the Financial Services industry
· Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word
· Familiarity with banking products
· Accounting/Banking qualification and/or expertise in regulatory reporting would be an advantage
· Excellent communication skills, analytical and numerical skills
· Very good German and English skills
