Regulatory SME recruitment

The successful candidate will come on board within a newly formed function, tasked with delivering an independent, robust and controlled environment that underpins business activity

Responsibilities of the Regulatory SME will include but will not be limited to:

• Demonstrating a full understanding of the impacts of changes to controls and reconciliations

• Documenting business requirements for implementation of new Basel III rules and working closely with technical regulatory teams, IT and Risk departments and defining configuration for systems and UAT planning

• Assessment of the impact of credit risk capital and liquidity on Basel III across the business lines

• Review of the introduction of RWA disciplines and changes in RWA methodology and calculations

• Conducting risk assessments on the potential business impact of MiFID on the pre and post transparency of markets including regulatory aims to increase transparency

• Support the business lines in aligning to the desired future shape of the business operating model and assess the implications of ICB, Dodd Frank, Tax, MiFID and Basel III

• Enhance and implement data quality control processes in line with regulatory requirements

To be considered for this role you must have:

• A project management/business analysis background gained in the Financial Services Industry

• Experience of Regulatory projects and extensive knowledge of Regulatory change impacting the industry

• Strong business knowledge, technical skills, process management skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships across other divisions
