Rehabilitation Case Manager (RGN / Occupational Health Nurse) – Leeds
Hays Healthcare are working with a market leading insurance company who require an ambitious Rehabilitation Case Manager to work within their Medical Management Centre based in Leeds.
Job Role:
Working within a dynamic team, The Rehabilitation Case Manager will be required to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment regimes and initiate return to work programmes with employers.
Acting as the point of specialist referral, the Rehabilitation Case Manager will assist in the medical management of injured parties pursuing an insurance claim.
Candidate skills required:
* To be successful in this role applicants will be either a Registered General Nurse with current UK registration or a professional from a similar medical background. An Occupational Health qualification is desirable.
* An understanding of claim functions and their processes.
* A broad medical knowledge, particularly in relation to musculo-skeletal injuries.
* A good working knowledge of the NHS and understanding of how to navigate potential treatment delays.
* A good understanding of the private medical sector and the services available.
* The ability to communicate to all levels of the organisation.
* The ability to form excellent working relationships.
