Job Title: Rehabilitation Job Readiness Specialist Application Deadline: 03/23/2012 Job Code: 14661 Pay Grade: 10 Position Number: 00084540 Entry Salary: $1,839.83 per month Location of Vacancy: Vocational Rehabilitation - Region 4 - Newnan, GA Duties Responsibilities: Under general supervision, the incumbent will provide work preparation services to individuals or groups in support of the work service delivery team. The individual will also provide job readiness assessment and training, identify community resources, provide job seeking skills training, and maintain records. We are looking for an individual who possesses the following characteristics: highly organized, ability to make independent decisions as well as within a team structure, possesses excellent customer service skills, and has the ability to work in a variety of different situations. Entry Qualifications: Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent AND One (1) year of experience providing educational, social or direct care services to persons with diagnosed special needs or other populations OR Associate degree in business management or behavioral sciences. Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years of experience in human service delivery, which includes direct client interaction, arranging services, and coordinating support activities including conducting job clubs, conducting job assessments, assisting with job fairs, or monitoring job openings to assist with job placement.
