Reimbursement Specialist Job
- Consultant in Health Policy and Health Economic Issues
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Cook competes in the highly competitive medical device field. To secure our success, it is necessary that we understand all aspects of health care in the markets in which we compete. This includes understanding how our hospital and physician customers are reimbursed for the service they provide. To build our capabilities in this area, we are looking for a wellqualified and engaged employee for our European Reimbursement Team. You will be a key player in a qualified team of engaged employees who are taking care of hospital and physician reimbursement issues in Europe. Your main focus will be on Italy.
JOB PROFILE
· Develop an unsurpassed understanding of the reimbursement
systems – inpatient and outpatient
· Investigate and develop reimbursement and new business
opportunities
· Stay updated on health technology assessments (HTA) and
specific regional regulations
· Draw attention to general policy issues
· Work with the relevant trade association
· Serve as the primary source of reimbursement support for
sales representatives and customers
· Support Cook sponsored clinical and health economic assessment
EMPLOYEE PROFILE
You possess good oral and written communication skills in Italian and English
• You have a background in health economics or health management
• Preferably you will be based in Italy and willing to travel, primarily
within the EU
• You are familiar with hospital reimbursement systems and have
a strong interest in medicine
• You have experience in governmental healthcare administration
and/or in hospital administration
• You have gained reimbursement experience from working in a
pharmaceutical or medical device company
