This role offers a great opportunity for a reinsurance administrator, from the life insurance sector, to use their technical abilities to target the next step in their career development with one of the World's most recognised reinsurance companies.
Reporting to the Business Administration Manager, the role is one which encompasses all aspects of data analysis and information maintainance, crucially ensuring the accuracy of the in-house reinsurance administration system, aiding the processing and reporting on present treaties in place.
The ideal candidate with benefit from the following skills and competencies: -
Key Accountabilities:
- Understand, interpret and apply treaty conditions to ensure they are adhered to
- Reconcile data against premium received in order to ensure the correct information regarding the risk is obtained
- Identify and resolve data anomalies so that premium can be accurately matched to risk
- Conduct client audits to improve the nature and quality of data transfer between the company and its clients
- Process claims payments within agreed timeframes in order that client service standards are met
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
- Minimum of 2 years life insurance, or ideally reinsurance, administration experience
- Tertiary qualifications within Accountancy or Finance highly regarded
- Advanced computer skills around Excel, Access, with SQL or VBA knowledge desirable
- Strong analysis, critical thinking and numerical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage strict deadlines, work autonomously and as part of a team, while being able to learn new processes and systems quickly.
