Reinsurance Business Analyst / Development – Singapore recruitment
Our client prides itself in providing its wide and diverse portfolio with innovative and successful insurance solutions including individual life reinsurance, individual living benefits reinsurance (including health reinsurance) and product development expertise.
Role and Responsibility:
Due to planned growth, the firm is looking for someone to provide technical support to the Business Development Team. The incumbent will be looking after:
1. Technical reinsurance treaty work such as treaty drafting and treaty review
2. Technical analysis support to reinsurance administration, risk management, underwriting and claims on client accounts
3. Technical support to the Group Life Reinsurance pricing
4. Financial Projection, experience study and analysis of the treaty accounts
5. Conduct market studies, product comparison and product development research
6. Handling and support to ad hoc projects such as client events
Skills and Competencies:
We are interested in hearing from suitable candidates *based in Singapore* that suit the following profile:
• Academic education- a university degree in Actuarial Studies
• Minimum 2-3 years professional life or reinsurance experience, working experience in Reinsurance or Consulting Business will be a plus.
• Has basic technical knowledge in life insurance (in either Actuarial Pricing or Product Development)
• Strong technical and analytical skills, with good communication and negotiation skills
