We are currently recruiting for a Relationship Analyst to join our Business Development Relationship Group in London. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the European Team, and will be primarily responsible for supporting and strengthening our relationships with clients in Benelux and Scandinavia.
Commanding a thorough knowledge of our business, coupled with strong interpersonal skills, the successful candidate will work closely with other members of the team on a portfolio of assigned accounts and relationships. He/she will conduct analysis of client portfolios, initiate investigations, respond to inquiries on a wide variety of topics and as opportunity arises, participate in client meetings.
Responsibilities:
* Incorporate product knowledge, cultural awareness and business judgment to ensure that prospects and clients are provided with the optimal mix of the firm's resources;
* Coordinate new account set-ups/transitions;
* Analyse performance data, investment characteristics and risk profiles of client portfolios;
* Ensure compliance with client guidelines and applicable regulations, in liaison with Legal and Compliance colleagues;
* Prepare standard and customised client reports, including monthly and quarterly portfolio summaries and performance attribution analyses;
* Understand each client's long-term investment strategy and policy issues;
* Work on assigned business development and client projects.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate is likely to possess the following:
* 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including direct Buy side experience of supporting institutional and/or wholesale client relationships;
* Demonstrable knowledge of capital markets and/or investment products, ideally spanning both equities and fixed income;
* Strong academic credentials. A Bachelor's degree is required, with preference given to candidates holding, or progressing towards, the CFA;
* Strong project management and organisational skills;
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
* Relevant language skills, although this is not essential.
