This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful Real Estate Finance Group, as part of a growing Corporate Banking Business. Part of the role will focus on Hotels also.
This role will suit a candidate with a track record of performance in relationship driven roles, a desire to grow this part of our business and the ability to develop a meaningful, long-term relationship with both internal and external stakeholders.
As a Relationship Director your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- A proven track record in Relationship Management within in a Corporate Banking lending business.
- The successful candidate will have strong and proven credit skills, together with structuring skills, and a deep knowledge of related risk and other financial products available to the corporate market.
- Proven deal doing record in the Real Estate or Hotels Sector, and broad knowledge of all aspects of these markets and a strong track record of business development.
- Advanced understanding of cashflow management and lending.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering sustainable income streams on both sides of the Balance Sheet and exceeding targets.
As a Relationship Director your main responsibilities will involve:
- To manage relationships with existing key customers, to extend the width and depth of their relationship with the bank.
- To develop new customer relationships with key names within the Real Estate or Hotels sector and to market the bank's offering to the sectors, in particular with regards to strategic and long term finance needs. To develop relationships with key influencers professionals across the sectors.
- To originate, structure, negotiate and oversee delivery of new lending business as well as ancillary businesses, maximising opportunities from existing and potential clients, to achieve agreed business targets and behavioural objectives.
- To meet targets for profit, credit quality, new customers, cross-sales, customer satisfaction, and retention.
- To pro-actively develop and facilitate effective business relationships at all levels, including peers, senior managers and directors across the business to enable optimal personal and business effectiveness.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, improving customer satisfaction to achieve divisional goals to significantly increase market share.
Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 plus benefits
