This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Corporate Banking business team within Santander. The role is responsible for marketing and selling Santander's products to the Education, Healthcare and Communities (EHC) sector including Higher and Further Education, Private Healthcare and Medical Practices, NHS Trusts / Public Sector Health Organisations, Local Government and 'Not for Profit' Charities and Public Organisations.

As a Relationship Director you will support the Relationship Managers in the marketing of the bank's products to new and existing customers with borrowing requirements above £5 million.

As a Relationship Director your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

A proven track record in business development within Corporate Banking, with a particular focus on the EHC market.
Demonstrable experience of delivering sustainable income streams through managing and exceeding targets within Corporate Banking.
Strong skill set in Relationship Management including understanding the needs of existing customers, developing new customer relationships and working with both groups to find effective solutions to their business issues.

As a Relationship Director your main responsibilities will involve:

Originating new EHC customer relationships for the core product set of lending, current account, deposit, and cash management and to originate new customer relationships through other products.
Managing the existing portfolio of EHC customer transactions, supporting customers and retaining business.
Extending and developing business with existing customers, aiming for an average of 3 products (including both core and others) and for a primary banking relationship.
Meeting targets for profit, credit quality, new customers, cross-sales, customer satisfaction, and retention.
Supporting the development and maintenance of a network of introducers in the professional business community and developing a personal network within the local business and professional community of EHC focussed introducers.
