Relationship Executive Manager, Commerical Banking recruitment
Reporting to the State Manager, Commercial Banking, the Relationship Executive (RE) Manager is responsible for managing and motivating a team of experienced Relationship Executives within our Perth Commercial Banking team. Managing a team of 8 direct reports, the RE Manager will support the State Manager, Global Relationship Managers and Relationship Managers is building our success across a highly competitive domestic and international market.
With an in depth understanding of core client's business, the industry, market developments and the full suite of HSBC and our competitors products and services, the RE Manager will work with and support the team in achieving and maintaining core bank status. Responsible for building and maintaining effective working relationships across core business functions including PCM, Trade, Markets, and Credit Operations, this is a high profile and challenging position.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing and motivating a team of Relationship Executives;
- Drive and develop the RE team ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines at all times, along with team and personal development;
- Working with the GRM and RM in regards to client planning, strategy, marketing and origination initiatives for designated CMB clients and products;
- Support the RMs in credit preparation and client support, ensuring preparation of credit proposals (CARMs) and reviews are to the highest standards;
- Act as a member of the Client Service Team in Australia with the overall goal of increasing revenues, maximising return on RWA whilst maintaining credit quality across the portfolio;
- Keeping abreast of industry/market developments so as to understand customer needs and identify business opportunities;
- Process improvement champion, liaising with CMB Business Management to ensure that all CMB process and operations are efficient and aligned with group best practice.
- Management of core internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Skills
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in a related field;
- A minimum of two to five years relevant experience, including preparation of credit proposals and reviews;
- Strong people management skills and the ability to drive and develop a team of professionals;
- Exceptional relationship building skills and the ability to liaise across a global team;
- Strong commercial acumen.
