We are currently on the look out for someone who currently works as a Relationship Manager in the Commercial/ Corporate space to take on a diversified portfolio of high profile clients in the inner South-East Melbourne region.
As an experienced Relationship Manager, you will manage relationships with clients and your immediate team and have a strong focus on developing good referral sources, community links and new business partnerships for this portfolio. This diverse portfolio will see you responsible for managing complex deals typically in the range of $3M up to $10M; with a strong cash flow focus. You will be allocated an experience Associate/ Analyst to support you with credit writing and Client Management.
Imparting specialist advice, your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Assess economic value and risk potential of new business
- Maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio
- Utilise a structured sales approach through the CIS principles; building and leveraging relationships with specialists for the best customer outcomes
- Develop and improve professional excellence through management of individual and team performance
- Implement annual business plans for your customer portfolio
- Prepare and submit business lending proposals
- Lead, coach and motivate direct reports
A relevant business-related tertiary qualification combined with prior experience managing a portfolio of high end Commercial/ Corporate clients will impress, but it's your passion for sales and relationship management and your drive and tenacity that will ensure your success in this role.
