Relationship Manager – Custodial recruitment
The Relationship Manager is responsible for the overall regional relationship management of the custodian bank network including minimising costs and maximising the service of custodians and act as a key liaison for our institutional client custodians.
The Manager is responsible for representing the business and acting as a main point of contact for all matters related to the Asian network. The job includes management of regular relationship meetings in which service provided by the custodians is analysed and reviewed to enhance the service levels and products provided by the custodian and our clients. The Manager also needs to focus on cost management, risk management, consistent cash management policies, custodian agreements, and contract monitoring across the Asian bank network.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Finance, Accounting or Investment Operations is required.
- More than 3 years experience related to relationship and contract management within the financial services industry
- Solid business communication skills; verbal and written fluency in English required. Demonstrated ability to communicate and work with all levels of personnel.
- High degree of responsiveness with quick turnaround, impeccable follow-up and a focus on exceeding expectations.
- Exceptionally proactive focus is required. Individual possess the ability to anticipate requirements or obstacles and have plans ready to proactively address.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and presentation skills. Project management skills and business process re-engineering skills preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines: must be able to handle, coordinate, and prioritize multiple tasks, issues, and problems ensuring resolution.
- Relevant knowledge of the rules and regulations governing Investment Administration is required.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification is highly desirable
- Highly developed telephone marketing skills, with experience working in a call centre environment is desirable
