Relationship Manager FI/Senior Dealer Corporate Sales
This exciting opportunity is responsible for the management and coordination of the Financial Institutions franchise across Switzerland. Coverage of corporate clients includes Commercial and Investment banks as well as Central Banks, Asset Managers, Insurance Co’s. Private Banks, Central Banks etc. In addition to the origination and development of FI Trade products, strategy implementation and generating sizeable revenues from a selective FI portfolio (Funded and Unfunded) is required.
This joint role also involves the marketing process of all treasury products to corporate clients. The role supervises the process of generating profitable Corporate Treasury Product sales and in creating potential for the Group as a whole to leverage additional benefit from these sales.
Additional responsibilities to include:
- Play a major role in the implementation of the strategies and plans to achieve all set volume, revenue and profit targets for the Financial Institutions function and in accordance with QNB’s overall corporate budget and strategy.
- Implements the Group’s strategies to position QNB Banque Privée (Suisse) SA in the Corporate Treasury segment.
- Ensures the achievement of set targets/objectives, business growth and expansion for the Corporate Sales Unit.
- Responsible for business development and origination as well as credit recommendations in favour of selected local and regional FIs.
- Maintains relationships with key Swiss based Institutional clients.
- Coordinates with counterparts in Paris and London to ensure an aligned platform across European and international desks.
- Develops new Corporate relationships, within the delegated authority, allocates responsibility for these within the Corporate team and subsequently acts as focal point for guidance and assistance in resolution of any contentious issues arising in the course of managing Corporate relationships.
- Liaises with Group Treasury to identify potential customers and to cross sell treasury services in addition to providing requisite training to Corporate Banking staff on the treasury products and services that are provided by the Group.
The successful candidate will have at least 5-7 years sound experience in the Swiss banking industry, and will have spent a significant time in an institutional sales role. He/she will be well-informed of the market competitive structure, industry practices and regulations pertaining to the correspondent Banking and Trade Finance segments. A MBA in International Business or Finance, CFA, or a related professional certification is advantageous.
